Eva, like all 6 year olds, knows everything. Now that she has decided to become a spy, she spends much time writing in her 'PRIVAT' notebook. And in her down time, she has been expanding on her 'seven ages of man' theory. In her words...
0-1 years - you're a baby
2-6 years - you're a toddler (this is true Mummy)
7-9 years - you're a kid
10-12 - you're a tween-ager
13-19 - you're a teenager
20-50 - you're an adult
over 50 - you're a grandpa or grandma
Brunnell, as a 50-something Dad fits neatly into this last category. Eva thinks it's hilarious.
As an 'adult', so do I. Brunnell is less amused.
Happy Monday everyone!

This is so cute! She sounds brilliant. I can't believe being a kid only lasts two years! It must be great fun having a spy around!x
ReplyDeleteOh I love it!!! What a clever cutie Eva is:) Maybe your Eva and my Olivia can be spies together ;) Hope you have a fabulous week Amanda ~ Tina xx
ReplyDeleteI love the way they look at life. And their little private thoughts. It is a great age.
ReplyDeleteThe latest one I have been getting from my 7 year old daughter is 'Mummy you know I am not having children because I am going to be a vet' I say 'well why don't you have children and also work, after all that's what I do'. And she just looks at me and says 'No, I DON'T think so'.
So I think the working mother example I am setting may be perhaps not such a great example!!!
Oh that is so funny...PRIVAT....classic!
ReplyDeleteCareful with that spy in your midst.

That's so funny!
ReplyDeleteGosh, your dahlias are gorgeous in those bottles. Mine are finished now but I have plans to add more to the garden this year :)
That is so cute, as I age I find myself thinking, "Oh she's 60, so young!" Perspective.
ReplyDeleteCame over from Relyn's today after reading your comment there.
Haha that is so funny, especially the tweenager one!
