simple study style

I love everything about this character-filled workspace featured in a recent issue of Elle Decoration. Yes, I know it's a departure from my usual more upbeat colour palette, but I love the obvious mish mash of the tactile old chair, table and stool, alongside the moody artwork (or could it be a blackboard) and the shiny new laptop. Add a bit of typeface, and that amazing old industrial lamp. It's a very happy juxtaposition!

Part of me loves bright and vibrant bohemian (much like your blog), but another part of me swoons for industrial deliciousness.
